BETTY R. GEISLER

NORA SPRINGS - Betty R. Geisler, 74, of 1591 Avon Ave., died Friday (Feb. 22, 2002) at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be services at a later time. Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St., Mason City, is in charge of arrangements.

Betty was born on January 2, 1928, in Asheville, N.C., the daughter of William and Pearl (Robertson) Reynolds.

Betty married Emery D. Geisler Aug. 28, 1965, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. They farmed south of Nora Springs. She loved taking care of her family and cooking for them.

Betty is survived by her husband, Emery Geisler, Nora Springs; a son, Bill Geisler, Nora Springs; and two sisters, Mary Canipe, Arden, N.C., and JoAnn Hughey, Asheville, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Eugene and Jack Reynolds.
