CHARLES CITY, IOWA — James Hubert Curtis, died at his home in Webster Grove, Missouri, March 12, after a lingering illness;

The Curtis family lived in Charles City for several years, at which time Mr. Curtis served successively as county engineer cf Floyd County, and city engineer.

He leaves a widow, two daughters and three sons, Louise, Northville, Michigan; James, an ensign, and Mark, a lieutenant in naval service; Cora, at home, and Kent, a freshman at Yale University:

Mrs. Curtis is the former Lydia Krueger, daughter of the late Fred C. Krueger, of Charles City.
