at Charles City

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home for Mrs. Hans P. Christensen, 64, who died Monday evening at her home after an illness of more than two years. The Reverend Paul H. Heath, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Garden near Charles City.

A resident of Charles City for the past 30 years, she had lived in the Greene area before living in Charles City.

She was born in Floyd County, June 12, 1892, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Druschel. She married Hans P. Christensen on January 19, 1912, in Charles City.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Emma Parsons, Willerney, Minnesota, Mrs. Joe Horn, Clarion, and Mrs. Charles Bray, Jr., Charles City, and two sons, Kenneth Christensen, Charles City, and Claude Christensen, Waterloo; two brothers, Henry Druschel, Charles City, and William Druschel, Rockford, and two sisters, Mary Schroeder and Nettie Bluhm, both of rural Charles City.

One brother, Emil, and one son preceded her in death.
