Julia Tripp, 57,
dies following
long illness

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church for Mrs. Julia Tripp, 57. She died Thursday at the Cedar Valley Hospital. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hauser Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Tripp had been in failing health for several years, with multiple sclerosis. Her husband, Leo Tripp, preceded her in death June 10, 1959. Mrs. Tripp was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Born August 31, 1902, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of Philip and Violetta Bissonnette. On January 4, 1922, she was married to Leo Tripp.

Survivors include a son, Darwin Tripp, Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren; three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Clem Rennier, San Quentin, California; Mrs. John Rodamaker, rural Charles City; Mrs. Robert Hicks, Los Altos, California, and Philip Bissonnette, Charles City.
