Mrs. M. E. Funte
Dies at 73;
Rites Monday

CHARLES CITY - Funeral services were held Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church for Mrs. Mary Ellen Funte, 73, widow of Otto Funte, who died Friday afternoon at the Cedar Valley Hospital. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

The Funtes lived in the New Haven area and in the Colwell area. For the past 12 years they lived in Charles City. Her husband died in March 1956. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Survivors include two sons, John Funte, Charles City, and William Funte, Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. John Fox and Mrs. Casper Fox, both of New Haven, and Mrs. Harold Hoisington, Charles City; one brother, William Kohoe, Valley City, North Dakota, and two grandchildren.
