DIES NEAR FLOYD

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services were incomplete late Tuesday at the Grossmann Funeral Home for Charles E. Bromley, 39, who died Tuesday at his farm home, northwest of Floyd. He had been in poor health for four and one-half years with Bright's disease. He is survived by his wife and five children.

Rites Held Thursday
for Charles Bromley

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services for Charles Bromley, 39, who died Tuesday were held Thursday in the Floyd Methodist Church. The Rev. Max Paige, pastor, officiated and burial was in Sunnyside Memory Gardens near Charles City.

Mr. Bromley was born June 20, 1913, near Nashua, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bromley. His mother died when he was an infant. He was married to Theresia Ullerich, March 16, 1934, at Waverly. For the past five years they farmed near Floyd.

Survivors are his wife, a son, Larry Charles, 14, and four daughters, Shirley Ann, 17, Nancy Lee, 12, Judy Kay, 10 and Carolyn Mary, 8; and a sister, Elsie Bromley, San Francisco, California, and sever brothers, Perry, Glenn and Robert, all of Mason City; Marvin, Waterloo; Arthur, Nashua; Max, Florida; and Jack, Pheonix, Arizona.
