Hazel P. Kelleher

Hazel P. Kelleher, 77, formerly of Springdale, Ariz., and Charles City, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Carriage Inn Nursing Home in Steubenville, Ohio, from complications of pneumonia. Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Sunnyside Chapel Funeral Home, Charles City. Burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, August 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. til service time.

Hazel was born on May 16, 1926 at Lisbon, Ohio to Albert L. and Elizabeth K. 'Smith' Stewart. On Aug. 30, 1946 she was united in marriage to Francis Leroy Kelleher in San Diego, Calif. He died on Aug. 19, 1999.

Hazel was a member of the Moose Lodge and The American Legion Auxiliary of Charles City. She was an employee of the Chautauqua Nursing Homes.

Survivors include: four sons, Michael of Steubenville, Ohio, Dean of Anchorage, Alaska, Patrick of Waukegan, Ill., and Timothy of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Jean Stillions of Charles City and Sue Kelleher of Orlando, Fla.; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Bean of Ambridge, Penn., Betty Cunningham of Florida, and Ruth Archer of Sewickley, Penn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one grandson, Trevor Stillions.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Sunnyside Chapel Funeral Home in Charles City is in charge of the arrangements.
