CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Earl N. Reis, 90, died Tuesday (Feb. 9, 1999) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, where the St. Catherine's Circle will recite the rosary at 3 p.m., and a Vigil Scriptural Wake service at 7 p.m. will be held. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Saturday.

Earl Nicholas Reis was born March 22, 1908, in Ulster Township, Floyd County.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Charles City; a son, Roger of Loomis, Calif.; a daughter, Janice Webber of Des Moines; a sister, Magdaline Greiner of Reinbeck; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
