CHARLES CITY - Ellen M. (Mrs. Howard) Barrett,
82, of Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home and formerly of 713 Seventh Ave., died Wednesday (Nov. 8, 2000) at the nursing home.

A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 105 Chapel Lane, Charles City, with the Rev. Dr. S. Todd Yeaton and the Rev. Ruth Yeaton officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City. The family will be present to receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church Saturday.
