CHARLES CITY - Don O. Sherwood, 77, of 608 Eighth Ave., died Wednesday (Sept. 20, 2000) at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Dianne Christopher and the Rev. Diane Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens south of Charles City. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume from 9 to 11 Saturday at the funeral home and an hour prior to the service at the church.
