Are Held In Charles City

Funeral services were held in Charles City at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon for William "Billy"
Daughenbaugh, 80, long-time resident of Nora Springs, who died at the Cedar Valley hospital at 8 o'clock Monday morning, November 15, 1943.

He was taken to Charles City two weeks ago. His death was due to a heart aliment of several years duration.

Born in Richland county, Wisconsin, on October 20, 1863, a son of Peter and Adeline (Adams) Daughenbaugh, he had lived in the vicinity of Rudd and Nora Springs for the past 55 years. He is survived by two brothers, Calvin of Charles City and Edward of Texas.

The Rev. William Bergman officiated at the last rites, and interment was in Riverside cemetery.
