GAIL LYNNE VOSBURGH

CHARLES CITY - Gail Lynne Vosburgh, 51, of 210 Ninth Ave., Charles City, died Friday (Sept. 24, 1999) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, with the Rev. Ron Stein of the First Baptist Church of Mason City officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory and on Wednesday prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Gail Vosburgh Memorial Fund.

Gail Lynne Vosburgh was born Sept. 19, 1948, the daughter of Eldon Sidney Sr. and Wanda Marie (Hennick) Scott, in Rockford, Illinois.

Gail married Martin Laverne Vosburgh and they had three children.

For the last several years, Gail worked at Comprehensive Systems in Charles City, where she worked with the residents and served as a cook.

The joy of her life was her grandkids and she spent as much time with them as she could. Her family includes son, Patrick Dean Vosburgh, of Mason City, and his children, Christopher John, Porscha Renee, Amber Mae Lynne and Malina Saige; son, Merle Lee Vosburgh and wife, Kristin Lee, of Mason City, and their children, Reva Sue, Harley Joann, Jesse Laverne and Joseph Dean; daughter, Tabitha Jane Vosburgh and husband, Scott Crail, of Rudd, and their daughter, Autumn Gail Crail; brothers, Eldon Jr. (Skip) Scott and wife, Joyce, of Texas, Robert Scott and wife, Mindy, of Lone Tree, Jim Scott and wife, Judy, of Nichols, and Kirk Scott and wife, Theresa, of Marion; grandmother, Golda Hennick, of Floyd; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Martin, in 1979.
