August Huxol, age 75 years, 11 months and 15 days, died at the family home near Oakwood, southwest of Charles City at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, and funeral services were held from Central M. E. Church, Friday, with Reverend J. H. Klaus in charge.

Deceased was born in Germany December 15, 1846, and came to this country many years ago, settling on the farm south of this city, where he died.
