CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Vaclav "Jim" Schindelar, 78, of 601 N. Grand Ave., died Thursday (Aug. 26, 1999) at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home, in Charles City.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Charles City, with the Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with a Vigil Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
