SARAH JANE "Granny" CASTLE

CHARLES CITY - Sarah Jane "Granny" Castle, 104, formerly of 48 Cedar Terrace So., died Monday (March 27, 2000) at the 9th St. Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with the Rev. Ruth Yeaton of the First Baptist Church of Charles City officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Rockford.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
