ROCKFORD, IOWA — Carrie Ann Buseman, 86, formerly of Rockford West Manor, Rockford, died Thursday (Feb. 25, 1999) at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Hanford Community Church, 12411 Spruce Ave., Mason City. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City.

Other arrangements are incomplete at the Fullerton Schumburg Funeral Home, Rockford.

ROCKFORD, IOWA — Carrie Ann Buseman, 86, formerly of Rockford West Manor, Rockford, died Thursday, February 25, 1999, at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, 1999, at the Hanford Community Church, 12411 Spruce Ave., Mason City, with the Pastor Mark Culham officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 1999 at the Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City, and continue one hour before services at the church.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to direct memorials to the Carrie Buseman Memorial Fund.

Carrie was born April 21, 1912, the daughter of Ben and Abbie Annie (Hillers) Lamfers in Kanawha, Iowa.

On February 27, 1935, Carrie was united in marriage to Everett Buseman at the Kanawha Reformed Church. In 1945 the couple moved to the Rockford area where they continued to farm.

Carrie was a very dedicated person to both her family and her church. She valued every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Carrie was involved with as many different groups as she could be at church. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed baking bread, Chocolate Chip cookies and making apple butter. Carrie was a member of the Owen Center Sewing Circle and enjoyed doing embroidery work at home. Carrie was always willing to sit down and have a cup of tea and visit. Carrie was a member of the Hanford Community Church.

Those thankful for having shared in Carrie's life include two daughters, Edna and her husband, Earl Zieman, of Rockwell, and Carrie Trulson, of Kanawha; two sons, Donald and his wife, Jean Buseman, of Rockford, and Ronald Buseman, of Mason City; three sisters, Frieda Mehus, of Austin, Minn., Gertie Paulson, of Garner, and Alice Lamfers, of Clarion; seven grandchildren, Marvin Zieman, Daniel Zieman, Jon Buseman, Sandra Hanson, Sara Buseman, Kimberly Trulson, and Curtis Trulson; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Buseman was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett in 1986; two sons, John and Robert; four sisters and one sister in infancy; five brothers; one daughter-in-law, Vivienne; and one son-in-law, Roland Wike.

Fullerton Schumburg Funeral Home, Rockford, is in charge of arrangements.
