VICTORIA "VICKIE" JOANN JOHNSON

NORA SPRINGS - Victoria "Vickie" JoAnn Johnson, 39, died Sunday (Nov. 28, 1999) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Nora Springs with the Rev. Richard Pippert and the Rev. Deborah Stowers officiating. Burial will be in Rock Grove Cemetery, rural Nora Springs.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs, and one hour prior to service time at the church Wednesday.

Victoria "Vickie" JoAnn Johnson was born on June 30, 1960, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Belva Payton. She received her education in the New Hampton school system.

After completing her schooling, she worked for the Merry Maids in Mason City and Casey's General Store and Smokies Grocery Store, both in Nora Springs.

On June 26, 1982, she was united in marriage to Scott Johnson at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

She enjoyed fishing and going for drives in the country looking for deer, but her great love and enjoyment was her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Scott Johnson, Nora Springs; two sons, Jesse Bergmann, Plainfield, and Justin Johnson, Nora Springs; her father, Charles Payton, Fairbank; one sister, Joy Brummond and her husband, Randy, New Hampton; two brothers, Chuck Payton and his wife, Pat, New Hampton, and Tim Payton, Fredricksburg; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Belva Payton; a sister, Sandy Hanson; and a brother, David Payton.
