Larry King, 64, of Nashua, died Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City.

Funeral services for Larry King will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Chaplain Sam Mack of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Larry Allen King was born June 1, 1946, at Charles City, the son of Leonard and Irma (Smith) King. He received his education at Charles City. In 1965 he was married to Karen Fods. Over the years he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, fishing and hunting.

Living family members include two sons, Jeff (Chris) King of Osage and Mike King of Greeneville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel, Lydia and Callista King and Tyler and Cody Reams, Samantha Krahenbuhl and Dominick King; a great-granddaughter, Alexia Clark; and his father, Leonard King of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, David and Francis King; and a sister Donna Jean King.
