Mrs. George Pitkin Dead
CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Mrs. George (Bonnie) Pitkin, 39, died Sun day at the University Hospitals, Iowa City. She had been in failing health the last four years.
Born in Hayfield, Iowa, in 1924, she was the daughter of Earl and Elsie Blank Pringle. She was married February 25, 1944.
Surviving are her husband, a son, Thomas Earl, three daughters, Jean, Patricia and Betty, all at home; a brother, Dick, in Waco, Texas, with the Armed Forces; a sister, Mrs. Bernard Collins, Mankato; her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith, Hayfield; a stepsister, Mrs. Kenneth Carlson, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Wesleyan Methodist Church here. Burial will be in Madison Cemetery, Forest City, Iowa, with Grossmann Hage Funeral Home in charge.
