GEORGE W. WELLIK

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - George W. Wellik, 81, of the Iowa Veteran's Home, Marshalltown, and formerly of 127 N. Cedar Terrace and 309 Fourth Ave., died Wednesday (Dec. 22, 1999) at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Des Moines.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, U.S. Highway 18 and Clark Street, Charles City, with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, with graveside military honors conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City, with a St. Catherine's Circle Rosary at 3 p.m., a Knights of Columbus Charles City Council #1409 rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish vigil scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Monday at the Church.
