CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Dale L. Popes, 45, of 811 11th St., died Thursday (Feb. 5, 1998) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Debra Lincoln, associate pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Floyd.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.

Dale Lee Popes was born Feb. 25, 1952 in Charles City.

Survivors include his mother, Colleen Scholle, of Swaledale; one sister, Inda Scholle, Rochester, Minn.; a brother, Alan Scholle, of Cedar Falls; and his father, John Popes, Tripola.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one stepbrother, and one infant daughter.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Iowa, Charles City.
