MARBLE ROCK - Elsie A. Romer, 84, of 117 North River Street, died Friday (Sept. 4, 1998) at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, Marble Rock, with the Rev. John Albrecht of Zion Lutheran Church, Rockford, officiating. Burial will be in Lots Creek Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Reid's Funeral Chapel one hour before services and at the cemetery just prior to committal.

Elsie A. (Haack) Romer was born June 22, 1914, near Lots Creek, Kossuth County.

Living family members include three daughters, Nancy Eisenbocher, Ringsted, Louise Duryee and Debbie Jennings, both of Marble Rock; one son, Roger Schumacher, Mesa, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Haack, Truman, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a son, three sisters and four brothers.
