RUDD, IOWA - Benton J. Heitz, 84, of 105 Depot St., Rudd, died Monday, July 19, 1999, after his car was swept off the road by the waters of Flood Creek, near Rudd.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with the Rev. Deborah Stowers, pastor of the Rudd United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday.
