Nora Springs Native
Dies at Home in Idaho

NORA SPRINGS, IOWA — Relatives in this area have been informed of the death of Lawrence O. Wamstad, 69, at his home in Roswell, Idaho, November 25, following an illness of several weeks.

He was born on December 22, 1876, at Nora Springs, the son of Ole and Karine Peterson Wamstad, and grew to manhood here. He was educated in the rural schools of this community and later attended the Nora Springs seminary. In his youth he was confirmed in the Rock Creek Lutheran church and after going to Idaho in March, 1906, he joined the Presbyterian Church in Roswell.

He was married to Miss Ethel Mathews on December 11, 1924, in Boise, Idaho.

Survivors are his wife; three brothers: Carl of Parma, Idaho, Henry of Osage, and Milton of Nora Springs. Burial was at Boise, Idaho.
