Earl Conner, Well
Known Here, Died
at Mother's Home

Earl Conner, who has lived in Osage at different times, passed away Monday evening at 11 o'clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. Fred Conner, near Rudd, after a long illness from tuberculosis.

It was about a year ago that Mr. Conner and his wife occupied rooms over the Kane Drug Store and he conducted a land business. They have been since at Charles City. Mr. Conner became ill some months ago, and was cared for at a state institution. When it became known that the end was near, he was brought to his mother's home and his wife joined him there. Mr. Conner was 52 years of age.

Surviving, besides his mother, is a brother, Bernard, who, with his wife (formerly Ruth Tuttle), also live with the mother; a sister, Mrs. Orville Barrett, of Devonia, and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at his mother's home in charge of the Rev. Hess, of Charles City, and interment will be made in the Floyd Cemetery.
