CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Frances I. Zbornik, 80, died on Monday, August 10, 1998, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. S. Todd Yeaton, and Dr. Thomas F. Johnson, Dean of George Fox University, Portland, Ore., officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Those considering an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Floyd County Historical Society or a charity of the donor's choice.

Frances Irene Salsbury Zbornik was born on January 22, 1918, in western Nebraska.

Living family members include three children, Jim J. Zbornik of Charles City, Tiena J. Zbornik of Charles City, and Thomas E. Zbornik of Evanston, Wyoming; a brother, John G. Salsbury of Bozeman, Montana; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
