Charles City Man
Dies as Result of
Fall Down Stairs

CHARLES CITY, IOWA, March 26 — Charles Fix, 79, died Friday from injuries received when he fell down the stairway of his home, striking his head against a radiator and cutting an ugly gash over the temple.

He was a retired farmer and had lived in and near the city for the last 50 years. The funeral will be Sunday afternoon at the home, with burial in Beckwith Cemetery at Niles.
