CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Hazel Leora Meyer, 88, of Charles City, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City, of natural causes.

Survivors include three daughters: Dolores Moon of Rockford, Illinois, and Bonnie Holtz and Lois Meyer, both of Floyd; a son, John J. of New Hampton; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; Judy Reetz Monson of Charles City and Lyle Stillions of Colwell, whom they raised; and a sister, Nettie M. Wall of Floyd.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph; a brother, Dewey Stillion; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Gospel Lighthouse Church, Floyd, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.; visitation also from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and for an hour before services at the church.
