Mrs. G. Barclay rites Tuesday at Charles City

Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church for Mrs. George Barclay, 67. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with the Hauser Funeral Home in charge.

She died Friday evening at the Chatauqua Guest Home where she had been a patient the last six weeks. Mrs. Barclay had been in failing health for the past year and a half. Death resulted from cancer.

She was born at Champaign, Illinois, and was married to George W. Barclay, March 11, 1916, at Northwood, Iowa. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Osage and belonged to the Faith Circle of that church.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Stanley O'Dowd, Charles City; five grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters: Ben Beck, Marion; Otto and Lawrence Beck, both of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cecil Beck, Charles City, Mrs. Carl Bottleman, and Mrs. William Sisson, both of Charles City.
