CUTLER FUNERAL RITES ARE HELD
Pioneer Nora Springs Woman Survived by Son and Two Daughters.
NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - June 2 — Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie M. Cutler were held at her home yesterday afternoon. The service was read by Sherman Yelland of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Mason City. Several hymns were played by S. S. Yelland who also accompanied Miss Arcley Marshall rho sang two solos. Pallbearers were James A. Cutter, C. Moody, Robert C. Moody, A. Bronaon find Philip and Edmund Bronson. Burial was in Rock Grove cemetery.
Nettie M. Kelso was born January 1857 in Belmont, N. Y. As a very young girl, she came west with her parents to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, where she received her schooling. Then she came with her parents to a farm south of Nora Springs.
She was married to Julius G. Cutler on November 23, 1879. The two spent several years on their farm south of town, during which three children were born to them, a son, James A. and two daughters, Mayme Gertrude and Nelle Irene. In 1888 the family moved to Nora Springs.
Her husband died Feb. 19, 1911.
Members of her immediate family now surviving are her son, James A. Cutler, her two
daughters, Mrs. A. F. Bronson and Mrs. E. C. Moody and five grandchildren, Elinor Mae Cutler, Philip and Edmund Bronson, and Robert and Margaret Moody.Mrs. Cutler was a member of the local Crescent club, the Mason City Woman's club and the Eastern Star, of which she was a past matron. She was a W. C. T. U. member, a member of the League of Women Voters and committeewoman to local Republican conventions. For 20 years she was secretary-treasurer of the Rock Grove Cemetery association. She was a member of the Christian Science church 40 years.
