Young Osage pair, Marble Rock man;
Three North lowans died during the weekend as a result of motor vehicle accidents.**

William George Wedeking, 79, a retired Marble Rock farmer, died Saturday afternoon in the Cedar Valley Hospital, Charles City. He was injured when his pickup truck collided with; semi-truck driven by Louis Pinta, 40, Ames, owned by the Sioux City Oil Co.

The accident occurred near Charles City on Highway 14, Pinta told authorities the Wedeking pickup slowed suddenly in front of him. As he attempted to pass it the semi struck the left rear of the pickup.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Marble Rock Methodist Church. Burial will he in Hillside Cemetery Marble Rock, with Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, in charge.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Ruth Bartlett, and a son Arlie, both of Marble Rock; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
