CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church for Gerhardt Detrich Berding, 61, who died at the Cedar Valley Hospital here Sunday afternoon following a heart attack. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, near Charles City, with Grossmann Funeral Home in charge.

He had worked at the Sheffield Brick and Tile Co., in Sheffield, before farming near Charles City.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Lee Anda Berding, Rt 1, Charles City; and three daughters: Mrs. Victor Johlas, Greene; Mrs. William Jorgenson, Rockwell; and Mrs. Raymond Jorgenson, Princeton, Missouri.
