CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Donald W. Meineke, 71, of Charles City, died Friday (Oct. 20, 1995) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, 705 Third Ave., Charles City, with the Rev. Kurt Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to service time Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be given to Messiah Lutheran Church or Heart To Home Hospice.

Donald William Meineke was born Oct. 7, 1924, in rural Charles City.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Meineke, Charles City; one daughter, Tamara "Tammy" Elliott, Charles City; one sister, Marlise Nott, Charles City; one brother, Virgil Meineke, Charles City; and two stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
