Thursday at Rudd Church

ROCKFORD, IOWA - Gertrude Lohr 75, died Tuesday at the Rockford Convalescent Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Rudd Methodist Church. The Reverend Paul Hanson will officiate. Burial will be in Rudd Cemetery with Sheckler Funeral Home, Nora Springs in charge.

Born March 24, 1886, near Nora Springs, she was the daughter of Lena and Peter Lohr. With her sister, Anna, she owned and operated a mercantile store in Rudd 30 years. Her sister died four years ago.

The only survivor is a brother, Alvin, Rockford.
