Mrs. Embretson Rites
Wednesday at Charles City

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Mrs. Benney B. Embretson, 45, Charles City, died Monday in the Cedar Valley Hospital here, where she had been a patient for the past three and one-half weeks. Death resulted from cancer. Mrs. Embretson had been in failing health for the past two years.

The Embretson's have been residents of Charles City for the past six years. They came here from Austin, Minn. Mrs. Embretson was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Charles, 5, and two step-sons, Joseph, in the Navy, and Alfred in high school; one sister, Mrs. Arno Miller, Elma, and two half-brothers, Carl Arndt, Charles City, and Leo Arndt, St. Ansgar; four half-sisters; Mrs. Alton Schricber, Osseo, Minn.; Mrs. Marvin Ross and Mrs. Louis Ross, both of rural Charles City, and Mrs. Gordon Owen, Waterloo.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2 p.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Werner A. Bischoff officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

The Hauser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
