CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Hauser funeral home for Oscar W. Debban, 79, former Charles City resident, who died at St. Joseph's hospital in Mason City early Sunday morning where he had been a patient for more.than five weeks; death resulted from cancer. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

He had lived in Mason City with his daughter, Mrs. Josephine Kassel, for the past 2½ years.

Before going to Mason City he farmed in the Charles City area for many years.

His wife preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons and four daughters; Oscar Debban, Jr,. Waterloo, Mrs. Russell Schroeder, rural Charles City; Mrs. Harold Lloyd, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Josephine Kasseil, Mason City; Mrs. Ed Bartz, Ionia, and Melvin Deban, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two brothers and a sister.
