CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Barbara (Mrs. Leo) Tynan, 70, of 808 Ninth Ave., died Thursday, October 5, 2000, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St. in Charles City, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and one hour before services at the church.

CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Barbara Tynan, 70, of Charles City, died Thursday, October 5, 2000, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City, of natural causes.

Survivors include her husband, Leo; a son, Richard "Dick" of Charles City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Glen Nelson of Charles City; and three sisters, Nettie Vetter of St. Louis, Missouri, Betty Watkins of Greene and Delores Fike of Rudd.

She was preceded in death by a sister; and an infant daughter.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, both in Charles City; friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; visitation also from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and for an hour before services at the church.
