Nora Springs- Arnold W. Corell, 68, of Nora Springs, retired operator of Federal Auto Upholstery, Mason City, died Monday (Nov 26, 1984) at a Mason City Hospital.

Mr. Corell had operated Arnie's Ice Cream Shops in Nora Springs and Toledo, Iowa, during the late 1930s and early 40s. He also worked at the Rockford Brick and Tile Co. for several years, and in 1960 began work at Federal Upholstery, Mason City. In 1976 he purchased the automotive division of the business, which is now known as Federal Auto Upholstery. He retired in 1982 after selling the business to a son.

Mr. Corell was born April 27, 1916 in Cedar Rapids to John H. and Adeline (Leavens) Corell. He attended Waverly schools and married Lucille M. Robinson on Dec. 5, 1939 in Eldora. He had lived in Nora Springs since 1944.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Rudd Wesleyan Church, Rudd, with the Rev. Albert Fookes officiating. Burial will be in Newburg Township Cemetery Carpenter.

Vivistation will be after 2 p.m. today at Hogan-Bremer-Sheckler Colonial Chapel, Nora Springs.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille, two daughters, Mrs Ed (Marilyn) O'Connor and Christine Youngerman, both of Osage, four sons, Roger and Bruce both of Mason City, John, Nora Springs, and Ronald, Manly. 12 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. William (Mary)Woodring, Plainfield, and an aunt, Mrs. Bain Leavens, Shell Rock.
