ROCKFORD, IOWA - Grover H. Galvin, 79, a longtime Rockford resident, died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at Sun City, Arizona, following a brief illness.

A memorial service was held Wednesday (June 14, 1995) at Sunland Memorial Chapel in Sun City, Ariz. A second memorial service is planned for a later date in Rockford.

Grover H. Galvin was born Aug. 4, 1915, in Rockford.

Survivors include his wife, Sadie Galvin of Sun City, Ariz.; two sons, Dennis Galvin of Findley, Ohio, and Gary Galvin of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Dean Galvin of Brevard, N.C.; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
