Floyd, IowaBrad D. Reetz, 39, of Floyd died Saturday evening, October 10, 2009, at his home in Floyd. Pastor Jan Tjaden will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Floyd.
Bradley Dean Reetz was born October 1, 1970, at Charles City, the son of Carlton and Muriel (Johnson) Reetz, Jr. He attended the Cresco High School.
On May 18, 1991, he was united in marriage to Lauri Schriever at the Lutheran Church in Elma. Brad was employed at Featherlite Trailers for five years as a paint booth foreman. He was a life-time member of the North American Hunting Club. His interests included fishing, hunting, trapping, four-wheeling, cutting firewood and spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Living family members include his wife, Lauri Reetz of Floyd; two sons, Benjamin Reetz of Floyd and Brandon (Jessica) Gates of Charles City; two grandchildren, Talan and Liam Gates; mother, Muriel Reetz of Elma; two sisters, Deanna Titus of Elma and LeAnn (Dave) Durnan of New Hampton; two brothers, Mike (Jodi) Reetz of Charles City and Stacy (Jen) Reetz of Milwaukee, Wis.; many aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father; and grandson, Ethan Gates.

Funeral services for Brad Reetz will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Floyd. Pastor Jan Tjaden will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Floyd. Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will continue an hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
