Former Charles City man dies in Chicago

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Jimmy Blanck, Chicago, a former resident of Charles City, died Wednesday morning in a Chicago hospital. Death was attributed to meningitis. He had been ill only for a short time.

While living in Charles City he was employed at the Oliver Corporation.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, one of whom is Mrs. Henry Johnson, Charles City; one son, Ronald Blanck, California, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Krinkle, Charles City.

Services and burial will be in Chicago.
