CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Irene M. Nehls, 87, died Tuesday (Jan. 2, 1996) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis D. Niezwaag and the Rev. Karen Rask Behling officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, and will continue from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the church.

Irene M. Nehls was born July 30, 1908, in Charles City.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Nehls of Charles City; two daughters, Marilyn Enabnit of Marble Rock and Janice Coughlin of Beloit, Wis.; two sisters, Vera Tjaden of Floyd and Marion Hilborn of Menomonie, Wis.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
