Scheffel Rites Are Scheduled at Nora Springs

NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p. m. at the Sheckler Funeral Home in Nora Springs for Mrs. Jack Scheffel, 79. She died early Friday a the Pringle Nursing Home, Noris Springs. She had been a patient there since Dec. 17.

The Rev. W. S. Ellerbeck, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Scheffel was born Alice Breakey Aug. 6, 1876. Her husband who died in 1954, was the marshall in Nora Springs.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Les (Velma) Barker, Nora Springs, a grandson, two brothers, Mel Breakey and John Breakey, Noris Springs, and two sisters, Mrs. John Beach, Mason City, and Mrs. Louis Glassel, Brea, Calif.
