CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Marvin Matthews, 81, of Charles City, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 S. Main St. in Charles City. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Nashua.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, at the Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St. in Charles City, and again one hour prior to the service on Friday.
