ROCKFORD, IOWA — John William Ernst, 3, died at Iowa City Wednesday. The son of William and Thelma Ernst, he had been ill since birth.

He is survived by his parents, a sister, Sandra; two brothers, Dennis and Joel; grandmothers, Mrs. Josephine Reams, and Mrs. Emma Ernst, all of Rockford.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, with Weaver-Wilcox Funeral Home in charge
