CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Mildred J. North, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 1996, at the Salisbury Baptist Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Cook of the Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Monday.

Mildred J. North was born Sept. 13, 1911, in rural Floyd County.

Survivors include one daughter, Glennice S. Walters of Osage; two grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence E. Bray of Floyd and Burrell Bray of Charles City; and three sisters, Evelyn Gilbert of New Hampton, Ruth Lahmon of Lake Osakis, Minn., and Ruby Chavez of West Covina, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and five brothers.
