Kenneth Oscar "Red" Jung

CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Kenneth O. "Red" Jung, 87, of Charles City, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1995, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, U.S. Highway 18 and Clark Street, with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., with a St. Jude's Circle rosary at 3 p.m. and a Scriptural wake service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary led by the Knights of Columbus Charles City Council 1409. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Friday at the church.

Kenneth Oscar "Red" Jung was born Feb. 12, 1908, in Charles City.

Survivors include his wife, Zita Jung of Charles City; a son, Gerald Jung, Charles City; a sister, Dorothy Gayther, Charles City; a brother, Carlyle Jung, Charles City; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
