CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Mrs. Ferdinand Altenburg, 76, died Tuesday afternoon at her home, from diabetes. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternon in the Central Methodist church, with Rev. Wesley Belling officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Fred Altenburg and Mrs. Evan Rodemaker, both of whom live in this vicinity.

Mr. and Mrs Altenburg celebrated their golden wedding anniversary a few months ago.
