FUNERAL HELD AT RUDD FOR LIFELONG CITIZEN

RUDD, IOWA -- Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Wesleyan Methodist church in Rudd for Edward H. Witzel, 70, with the Rev. Rumppee, officiating. Burial was in Rudd Cemetery.

Mr. Witzel was a lifelong resident of Rudd. He was married to Bertha [Bertha Minnie] Muller on March 11, 1903, who died on January 8, 1946.

Five children survive: Stanley Witzel, Madison, Wisconsin; Mrs. Fred [Selma] Holtz, Elgin, Illinois; Homer Witzel, Stockton, California; and Mrs. Ray [Edna] Holtz and Mrs. Raymond [Iola]Morack, both of Rudd.
