CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Funeral services for Home A. Poe, 76, who died shortly after midnight Monday at a Charles City nursing home, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hauser Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shell Rock cemetery.
He was a livestock buyer until failing health forced his retirement.
He is survived by his wife; by a daughter, Mrs. Harold Eastman, Fairfield; a brother, Worthy Poe, Colorado Springs, Colorado; three sisters: Mrs. Charles Copple, Mound City, Kansas, Mrs. Warren Hodgson, Garnett, Kansas, and Mrs. Lester Elkinton, Springdale, Arkansas.
